Samdech Heng Samrin Hosts a Dining Ceremony for International Delegates to Successfully Participate in IPA General Assembly

Phnom Penh: After the successful closing of the IPA General Assembly on the night of November 24, 2022, Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly and President of the 43rd IPA, organized a dinner for the parliamentary delegation. IPA members, parliamentary delegations, IPA observers and all international guests at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel in a very happy and friendly atmosphere.

On behalf of the Cambodian Parliament, on behalf of the Cambodian people and on behalf of the President of the 43rd IPA General Assembly, Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin once again welcomed and thanked the presence of His Excellency, Lok Chumteav, Ladies and Gentlemen, National Guests. The international community, which was invited to attend the 43rd IPA General Assembly, is proud of its success.

Samdech stated that, in fact, the entire IPA family had not seen each other in person for two years due to the global epidemic of Kovid-19. He added that the current meeting reflects the success and practical experience in combating this epidemic. This success is due to the joint efforts and international solidarity.

The 43rd IPA President emphasized that this experience shows us that “common problems require a common solution” and that joint efforts and international solidarity are important factors in addressing challenges, including at the regional level. And the universe.

With congratulations on the glorious success of the General Assembly in the past four days, Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin stated that the achievements achieved now will help promote the role of IPA as the legislature. The region, which is more than four decades old, has the potential to become stronger, stronger, more efficient and more vibrant, which will contribute to building a peaceful, prosperous, sustainable and environmentally friendly ASEAN community.
