Samdech Techo Hun Sen: Cambodia is proposing to include Koh Ker Temple in the World Heritage List
Phnom Penh÷Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, said that Cambodia is proposing to include the Koh Ker temple in the World Heritage List.
On October 1, Samdech Techo Hun Sen met with 2,751 other families who volunteered to relocate their houses and structures from the Angkor resort area and areas under the control of the APSARA Authority on October 1. Thank you to all the people who have volunteered for the policy of the Royal Government to take care of the ancestral heritage of Angkor Wat.
Samdech Techo said that Khmer ancestors built many ancient temples on the land of Angkor, so we must work together to preserve these heritages. Samdech Techo stated that Cambodia is proposing to add Koh Ker temple to the World Heritage List.
Samdech Techo stated that resolving the Angkor area requires that Samdech be associated here with his staff in order to expedite the work as soon as possible.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen said that 594 families who volunteered to move from the streets and rivers in Siem Reap also received the same policy as those who moved out of Angkor. Samdech Techo Prime Minister instructed the Apsara Authority to work. This is the most serious and clear to the management of land in the protected area at the Angkor resort.
Today, Samdech Techo Hun Sen instructed the Council of Ministers to issue the SPDC in relation to the development in the Run Ta Ek area of Siem Reap province.
