Samdech Techo Hun Sen: EDC decides to connect electricity to people’s homes in Run Ta Ek for free
Phnom Penh: Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, said that Electricite du Cambodge (EDC) has decided to provide free electricity to people’s homes in the Run Ta Ek area.
On the occasion of the third meeting with about 1,853 families who volunteered to move houses and structures from the Angkor resort area and areas under the control of the APSARA Authority to settle in the development area. On October 21, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said that the construction of the electricity network in the Run Ta Ek development area will cost a total of about 6 million dollars.
Samdech Techo added that 194 machines are operating to prepare infrastructure in Run Ta Ek.
