Laos rejoices at the outcome of the 43rd IPA Meeting, which promotes peace, stability and sustainable development

Phnom Penh: His Excellency Dr. Saysomphone Phomvihane, President of the National Assembly of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, expressed his pleasure at the outcome of the 43rd IPA Meeting, which decided to promote peace, stability and sustainable development.

On November 25, 2022, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, met with HE Dr. Sai Somphon Phum Vihan after attending the 43rd ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly hosted by Cambodia.

According to His Excellency Eang Sophalleth, Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s personal assistant, after the meeting, HE Sai Somphorn of Vihan Village expressed his congratulations on the progress of Cambodia and congratulations on the prevention of smallpox-19. Successfully, in particular, Cambodia has successfully hosted the ASEAN Summit and related summits and the IPA Summit.

His Excellency expressed his pleasure at the outcome of the 43rd IPA Meeting, which decided to promote peace, stability and sustainable development.

At the same time, HE also expressed his satisfaction with the relationship and cooperation between the two countries which has been growing steadily and also thanked on behalf of the Party and the State to Samdech Techo and the Royal Government of Cambodia. Provides funding for Kovid-19 vaccine and vaccine trucks to help Laos successfully prevent the spread of Kovid-19.

In response, Samdech Techo Hun Sen also thanked HE Sai Somphorn Phum Vihan for attending the IPA Meeting in Cambodia, which reflected the support and success of the IPA Meeting. .

On that occasion, Samdech Techo Hun Sen also informed the President of the Lao National Assembly about the flower strategy that Cambodia has set out in implementing the prevention of the spread of Kovid-19 to be successful so far.
